She is an ok character to read about, and it’s interesting how she figures out all of the tests, but there’s not much more to her. Barnes and his people actually control the Debate Chamber. Cia is so bloody perfect that everyone wants her. Ok, survival of the best and the brightest. The colonies are divided similar to the districts in the Hunger Games, each with their own specific task to improving the earth for humans to thrive.
The first book was OK and I was curious as to how the events would unforld. I think it goes without saying that terror comes in many forms.
The second half of the book was your typical middle book of a YA dystopian trilogy.

Charbonneau definitely threw me for a loop! The story picks stufy after the last book ended, and things are not as they seem.
