Jun 12, Mary Catelli rated it it was amazing Shelves: In Dodd Vicker’s interview with Jim Callahan on Magicc Newswire, Jim mentioned that he was given a copy of Henning Nelms’ book “Magic and Showmanship” when he was young and the book still influences his presentations today. Those were halcyon days. I’ve never heard of your three recommendations either. It is a dense read with a lot of theory aand makes you think about magic in ways you never had.

I still prefer Strong Magic by Darwin Ortiz for a clearer course structure and better suited to our modern minds.
