But he cares for Cadel, takes his job seriously, and isn’t as stupid as some people take him to be. I was hoping the sequel would improve upon catheine first book, but instead it seemed to exacerbate the problems genous offer nothing more fun to counter them.
The story wrapped up pretty cleanly with Cadel moving in with Saul and Fiona and usually I have a problem with that kind of sickly sweet Kodak moment, but in this case I thought it was completely appropriate. Sadly, not so much. I always wished that I could be as smart a Cadel.
I liked how he became so attached to Cadel and always felt frustrated at Fiona for doubting his motivations but then secretly admitting to Cadel catberine he appreciated how she was so dedicated to ensuring Henius well being. While Cadel thought he had taken charge of his life it was actually Propser pulling strings and seeing his wonderfully laid out plan come to fruition.
Catherine Jinks describes the nuances of hacking without getting bogged down in overly technical details, and displays a very good grasp on the field. Cadel is taken to the house of Judith, one of the other members of Genius squad.

This is the second book of a series. Etwas kitschig aber das mag ich ja. The first book had a number of flaws, but was intriguing enough to pull me through and make me curious about the sequel. There was a caper, of sorts, but it was dry as they come. The parts of Cadel the main character I wasn’t fond of in the first book change as he grows up and becomes more of a human and less of a little robot kid.
Want to Read saving…. It was really good! Cadel Piggott’s been having a hard time since he chose to be good rather than evil. I loved, loved, loved them both. It’s just a general trend of the massive amount of events that occur in these A solid middle book in worthwhile trilogy.
And no, there isn’t proof that these so-called good-guys are actually good. Despite Cadel’s initial suspicions they may be working for Prosper, Cadel and Sonja eventually agree to join Genius Squad.
You can’t just keep recycling the same person you used the first time! Cadel reminded himself once again that Sonja’s predicament was far worse than his.
Cadel is afraid, but also knows how to cope with the cops. Last time I found it fascinating to read about this amoral character – because that is what he was: Greeniaus was also a good character, though I admit I thought he was undercover for the bad guys at first with a name like that.

The characters are really interesting and the plot was so good as well. She merely serves as a guilt-fount for our narrator and contributes none of her previous insights to catherlne problems he faces except for occasional moralistic one-liners.
