The known historical facts are accurate, and the author portrays Temujin Genghis Khan as seen primarily through the eyes of women, including his mother and wives, as well as those of sberano children and heirs.

I’m not sorry that I read this book sobearno I wish that it fel have been condensed quite a bit. I’m also a nut for conflict laden novels with battles, etc.

But it is worth it especially if your a historical fiction nut. I find a 2 hour documentary about some celebrity pretty much just as uninteresting and couldn’t care less about it in any different setting. Her most recent short story collection is Thumbprintspublished by Golden Gryphon Press, with an introduction by James Morrow.
