This book provides an in-depth discussion of the design, implementation and testing of embedded microcomputer systems. It features a wealth of detailed case studies that demonstrate basic mifrocomputer in the context of actual working examples microcmputer systems.
My big complaint about the book is the number of errors. This book covers the hardware aspects of interfacing, advanced software topics including interruptsand a systems approach to typical embedded applications. This book was more general in nature but did a better job of explaning why things work the way they do. The reader may easily got lost with those redundant information.
This book is the single worst book I have every read bby a subject relating to engineering of any kind. Lists with This Book. Some microcoputer, rare but existent, have nonsense sentences until you work through the sentence a few times to get at the meaning.

All textbooks have errors, but this book has WAY too many errors for a second edition. It also features a unique simulation software package on the bound-in CD-ROM called Test Execute and Simulate, or TexaS, for short — that provides a self-contained software environment for designing, writing, implementing, and testing both the hardware and software components of embedded systems.

Not Enabled Word Wise: This book does a fairly comprehensive coverage of the material and can be used as a textbook, but there’s hope that the shortcomings of this book can be overcome in future editions.
