Posted Tue Aug 1,5: So here we go, this is how you’re supposed to do it: My BAR14 did not come with the thingy you described but it works very well — IMHO there is no need to put anything on top of the ground coffee. I would hate to read this many directions. What do you call this thing? When you turn this button on ONE light should come on. Did I get the wrong stuff in my box? Not finding what you are looking for? With the usual parameters — fresh beans, fine and even grind, careful tamping — the Treviso can do it.
