Starting this series, I had always been under the impression that the Guardian’s were nightsjade wolves manipulated with magic by the Keeper’s, to be their slaves.
The third book in the phenomenal New York Times bestselling Nightshade series Calla has always welcomed war. Amazon Renewed Refurbished products with a warranty. Without Calla’s voice, which has grown irritating to me, Cremer’s writing shone beautifully. He was giving me a choice. But if I can set aside my feelings about the love story, the rest of the story was really cool. As the story neared the end, though, things became more interesting. See all reviews. Then we find out he’s been sleeping in the house they were meant to shsre together he’s so cute and he never gives up on her!
SO like I said, I’m having a hard time rating this book, because although I enjoyed bloodroee story, I hated the love story.
If I say too much it will spoil the surprise so Ill just wing it. In my opinion, I did novfl see movel overall character as manipulative, the way she played both Ren the mate chosen for her and Shay the mate she chose could be seen as manipulative. It wasn’t as if Shay was anywhere near Ren. I really, really disliked it. Wow, the action was mesmerizing. But the ending before that? Of course it didn’t last long, because when they circled Ren’s body to mourn him she starts explaining how Ren was her nigutshade and deep down she always knew she didn’t love him enough to be with him.
She lucked out because had I read this book last week or her tour brought her near me THIS week, I would have been there. Ugh, so it took Ren DYING for her to suddenly evoke some response and feelings for Ren, that she kept saying were there, but never showed. And I felt so sorry for Adne – they were getting along so perfectly and now she’s lost her brother and her whole family now.
Actually, the ending received almost none of its allotted stars. I’m probably the odd man out.
The Case of the Missing Marquess. He suffered many losses. She led the boys on and on and on and on some more. And then there Calla has always welcomed war. Poor freakin’ Ren can’t catch a break with her even after he’s dead!

Ren and Calla are meant to be together not Calla and Shay. But, to be honest, it was dystopian! You can probably guess them, but just to be safe, I won’t say. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.

If you do, don’t say I didnt warn you. Then in the second book he loses his dad. I leaned forward, pressing my lips against his, waiting until he responded to the kiss. Unfortunately there is just not enough room, time, or patience on my part to hit them all, so bare with me. First off, I want to say that the little teaser that was released before the book was released was a total misrepresentation. He’s so pushy and apparently has a dated brain because he believes in male dominance.
There were so many things that I hated about this, and then so many things nivel made me think Andrea Cremer is an awesome writer because she got my emotions SO wrapped up in this series.
Why drag us along with the whole Ren story, make us fall in love with him and then kill him bloodroxe that?! The further the book progressed, the more stable Calla’s footing was between the two lead men. And this is the worst way to get out of a love triangle.
Bloodrose: A Nightshade Novel
It had so much potential. And all Calla does is submit. Never in my life have I ever despised a love interest as much as him, but to be fair he was a lot better uh, yeah who could have guessed than he was in Wolfsbane. Oct 09, Marie rated it did not like it Shelves: He’s so funny, though rather less in Bloodrose than in Wolfsbane.
