Asimov is egotistical and funny, and very intelligent. But alas, the magic has worn off. While browsing e-books online, I found this mystery written by Asimov and since mystery is my faourite genre, I downloaded this book This short story started life as a bibliographic oddity, and without a go reference. One of the three contest short stories was “The Case of the Dying Hint” by noted science fictioneer and less noted mystery writer Isaac Asimov.
Asimov’s most famous work is the Foundation Series; his other major series are the Galactic Empire series and the Robot series, both of which he later tied into the same fictional universe as the Foundation Series to create a unified “future history” for his stories much like those pioneered by Robert A.
First, I like how diverse the mysteries are.

It collects twelve stories by Asimov, nine reprinted from mystery magazines and three previously unpublished, together with a general introduction, and an afterword following each story by the author.
