The AC mains is stepped down by transformer X1 to deliver a secondary output of 7. The slaves can be individually discovered and addressed using their unique ID.

Declare the variables as bits, bytes and words. IC DS is used as temperature sensor. In this mode, the DQ pin of the DS is configured as a singlewire port for communication with a microprocessor using ds18821 protocols described in the single-wire bus system section of the datasheet.
When the microcontroller watches something happen with single-wire bus, it issues a reset command. When this iterative process is complete, the value in the temperature register will indicate the centigrade temperature of the device. When configured as standalone thermostat, temperature conversions start immediately at power-on. The internal capacitor of the device meets its power needs during the low time.
In this mode, the DQ pin becomes active when the temperature of IC DS exceeds the limit programmed into the TH register, and remains active until the temperature drops below the limit programmed into the TL register.
Once the DS has entered thermostat mode it cannot be taken out back to 1-wire mode using a 1-wire interface.
It is unaddressable, and therefore there can be only one on a given bus. C O M This standalone digital thermometer controls the temperature of a device according to its requirement. The bus master dataeheet all communication. Capacitor C2 bypasses any ripple present in the regulated output. If it is 1, active high.
This resets the device and it sends a presence pulse and then listens to the microcontroller. Operating modes The DS has two operating modes: Once in thermostat mode, it is no datasheeh programmable from a 1-wire interface. See the datasheet for further information on thermostat mode.
Port P1 of IC1 is used to output the data on the segment display. Units for the temperature alarms are in the same temperature scale that was set for temperature measurements. Dstasheet DQ, the device gets its power and performs the tasks. Units are selected from the invoking command line.
A special circuit is required – see the datasheet for complete details. It is possible to recover it into 1-wire mode but only with a special circuit. Normal state of DQ pin single-wire bus of DS is high.

The goal is to provide an easy set of tools for a software designer to create monitoring or control applications. It can operate as a standalone thermostat with user-programmable trip-points set-point or as an 8-bit temperature sensor with a single-wire digital interface.
This is used here for timing delays. Switch S1 is used as a reset switch. Then DQ goes low for some time. Also in this mode, the control unit can initiate and stop temperature measurements as described in the operation-measuring temperature section of the datasheet.
It is meant to be programmed once using 1-wire and then permanently installed in a thermostat circuit.
Define the various port pins and where they are connected. Resistors R5 through R22 limit the current through the 7-segment display.
